Lalique Pintade Car Mascot
Fine example of the model no. 1164 PINTADE car mascot
 
Geometric cubist style of Pintade or Guinea Hen created by Lalique in 1929, presented as a hood ornament.
 
Offered here is a fine example in clear glass with no chips, grinding or restoration, exhibiting a lovely grey hue to the glass. Some mold lines and polishing thereof are apparent as part of the production technique of the time along with some minor air bubbles.
 
Molded 'R. Lalique' between the legs and neck on the right-hand side and wheel-cut engraved  ‘R. LALIQUE FRANCE’ above the base at the rear.
