Fine example of the model no. 1158 Perche fish car mascot
Naturalistic represention of the Perch in predatory mode, likely as seen by René Lalique in the countryside lakes and rivers around him in 1929, presented as a hood ornament.
Offered here is a fine example in clear glass with no chips, grinding or restoration, exhibiting good mold quality and some traces of grey staining. Some mold lines and polishing thereof are apparent as part of the production technique of the time along with some minor air bubbles.
