Fine example of the model no. 1152B Longchamp B Single Mane mascot
The second version of the Lalique Longchamp mascot created in September 1929, replacing the A or double mane version, this symbolic art deco horse head design presented as a Rene Lalique hood ornament.
Offered here is a fine example with no chips, grinding or restoration. In clear glass exhibiting good mold quality and a wonderful hue and silky feel. Some mold lines and polishing thereof are apparent as part of the production technique of the time along with some minor air bubbles.
Very strong molded ‘R. LALIQUE’ with double-tailed Q on the front left top of the base and strong molded 'FRANCE’ on the rear left.
