Fine example of the model no. 1141 Levrier or greyhound mascot
Designed in 1928 a representaton in rondel form of this sporting animal as a René Lalique radiator cap.
Offered here is a perfect example in clear glass exhibiting a greyish hue.
No chips, grinding or restoration. Some mold lines and air bubbles are apparent as part of the production technique of the time.
Molded ‘R. LALIQUE FRANCE’ with double-tailed Q above lower edge.
