Fine example of the model no. 1139 Tete d'Epervier or hawk's head mascot
Designed in 1928 and full of symbolism so often seen with René Lalique radiator caps. Offered here is an example in clear glass exhibiting a greyish hue.
No chips, grinding or restoration. Some mold lines and air bubbles are apparent as part of the production technique of the time.
Molded ‘Lalique France’ above the base, as is correct for this piece.
