Coq Nain Car Mascot
Fine example of the model no. 1135 Coq Nain mascot

Designed in 1928 and full of symbolism so often seen with René Lalique radiator caps. Offered here is a pre-war example in clear glass exhibiting a greyish hue and good mold quality.

No chips, grinding or restoration. Claws fully intact around base. Some mold lines and air bubbles are apparent as part of the production technique of the time along with some swirling in the glass as you would want to see in a pre-war example.

Molded ‘R. Lalique’ signature to one side of base and ‘France’ to the other.

Height 20.5cm
