Fine example of 1142 R. Lalique Saint-Christophe radiator cap - FOR SALE
Designed in March 1928, this pre-1945 example of the catalogue no. 1142 Saint-Christophe hood ornament has no chips or other damage and is an excellent example of the model with fine mold quality and hue. Look at the folds in the robe of the Saint Christopher and the baby Christ for an indication of early detail.
The signature is molded ‘R. Lalique France’ in the lower left of the rondel.
